Bio

We are an alternative rock band creating unique music with catchy vocals, strong storytelling, soaring lead lines, and grooving rhythms.  

An amalgamation of influences means our music is not pigeon-holed to one style of rock. Three singers able to step-up to the mic means we have the variety to perform the music we want. Our influences have stood the test of time, and our music can too.

Upstairs at Hanna's was born from the acoustic duo Simple Meerkatz. A spark was lit after Meerkatz performed at local folk clubs and the famous 'Hoggin' the Bridge' in Chepstow. Initially a cover band with a respectable following; with encouragement from fans, we decided to pursue our passion of writing and performing our own music.
